Drivers

Find official ASUS packages, compare versions, download and open installers.

Drivers lists official ASUS packages matched to the detected machine and compares them with installed versions where possible. Arsenal application updates are on About.

Scan for packages

Open Drivers and choose Scan again. Discovery needs an internet connection and depends on the model information and packages ASUS publishes.

Updates availablePackages detected as newer than an installed version.
Up to datePackages whose detected installation is current.
OptionalPackages with an unknown installation state or no detected installation.

Review a package

Rows show package information, status and the installed and ASUS versions when known. Unknown information does not establish that a package is needed. Review its description and compatibility before installation.

Download and install

  1. Use the selected package’s download action. Progress appears in the row; you can cancel or retry.
  2. When ready, use Show in folder to inspect the download, or Install to open it.
  3. Follow the downloaded package’s instructions. An archive may need extraction before its installer can run.

Open in browser provides the package link. Scanning and downloading do not silently install every result.

A package you downloaded in an earlier session is recognised after Arsenal restarts, so the row offers Install rather than downloading the whole package again. An interrupted transfer still reads as not downloaded. Packages are fetched only from ASUS hosts, and the same check applies to the file Arsenal finds on disk; see Security and privacy.

Update Arsenal itself

Use About → Arsenal updates → Check, then Download and install when an update is available. See Updating for the built-in updater and manual download.

If the list is empty

Check connectivity, the selected filter and the model detected in About, then scan again. An empty result does not prove that all installed drivers are current.
