Quick panel

Direct performance and GPU rows, six-tile pages, compact sliders and taskbar-aware placement.

Quick Panel opens from the notification area and puts direct performance and GPU choices above a personal grid of quick settings and compact sliders. Its layout is saved separately from Home.

Updated in Arsenal 1.1.0

Open and close

  • Click the tray icon to toggle the panel, or right-click it and choose Quick panel.
  • On a fresh launch, --quick opens the panel. See CLI behavior for an already-running app.
  • Click outside the panel, press Esc, or use its close button to dismiss it.

Readings

The telemetry card shows CPU and GPU temperatures and fan speeds, battery percentage and discharge rate, and display refresh rate where available. Visible telemetry refreshes about once a second. The app stops its window-telemetry timer when its windows are hidden; the overlay and companion obtain readings separately.

Performance and GPU rows

The performance row contains three plan shortcuts and a fourth Custom action. Select the pencil to assign three different built-in or custom plans; restoring defaults returns the row to Silent, Balanced and Turbo. Custom opens the dedicated Fans + Power window for the selected plan.

The GPU row exposes Eco, Standard, Ultimate and Optimized directly. Eco and Ultimate remain unavailable when the machine does not support the required switching path or MUX.

Choose and use tiles

Use + to add supported tiles and Edit to rearrange or remove them. A page shows three rows of two tiles. Arsenal preserves the existing 20-tile capacity across additional pages; use the centered page controls or a mouse wheel to move vertically between them.

A tile’s main area performs its action or cycles its setting. Tiles with an arrow also have a detail view for explicit choices. The Performance detail lists every built-in and custom plan.

Choices include performance and GPU modes, refresh rate, overdrive, automatic refresh, colour profiles, keyboard lighting, charge limit, full charge, overlay and supported system controls. The picker filters hardware-dependent choices.

Compact sliders

Brightness, charge limit and keyboard brightness are available alongside OLED dimming on supported machines. Each row shows the minimum and maximum beside the track; the thumb position represents the current value, so there is no duplicate current-value label or scale underneath.

Normal brightness follows Windows changes. OLED dimming is unavailable while GameVisual is Disabled. Charge-limit steps and minimums still come from the detected model.

Placement and movement

The panel opens in the notification area’s corner on the monitor containing the pointer. It rises from a bottom taskbar, descends from a top taskbar, and slides horizontally from a taskbar docked left or right. Arsenal re-reads the edge each time the panel opens, so moving the taskbar takes effect without restarting the app.

Spacing is balanced in device pixels against the taskbar and screen edges. Secondary-monitor work areas are used where available; the shell’s primary-taskbar report provides the fallback for an auto-hidden bar.

Arsenal 1.1.8 fixes placement after the active display changes — moving from the laptop panel to an external monitor at a different scale could open the panel outside the monitor.

Header and full app

The header uses the bare Arsenal mark and Your Arsenal. Select Open app for the full settings pages. Rearranging Quick Panel does not change Home’s control layout.
